Budget Tip: How To Print Large Posters For Dirt Cheap
So you want a large poster print, but you don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for it? I’ve got a quick poster printing budget hack for you!
This hack is great if you’re printing a poster that is primarily graphics. This is not a great option if you want to print images for a photo gallery wall.
My tip is to print your posters on blueprint paper! This is thin, but large paper that architects and builders use - and, despite the name, it’s not blue.
I used this method to print the outline of the woman in my master bathroom, and for my watercolor Christmas prints.
How To Print Large Posters On Blueprint Paper Through Staples
All the times I’ve used this method, I have used Staples! The price is right, and I’ve always gotten them done the same day or even next day.
Head to Staples.com and choose the Blueprints option.
Choose your size. I’ve done the 18” by 20” and that’s a great print size for in the home.
Upload your artwork. Staples lets you upload your art to their print platform so you get a preview of what it looks like.
Pay and pick it up!
